Is it possible to spark change by showing up as yourself? We believe it’s a start. Let’s come together as we are and celebrate the real identity of our community. Let’s have an honest conversation about how to step up so LGBTQ+ youth can come as they are.
Our special guest is Ryan Berg, author of No House to Call My Home. He’ll share the stories he has witnessed as a case worker in a group home for LGBTQ+ teenagers. Together, we’ll explore ways to advocate for LGBTQ+ youth and create spaces that celebrate and support them. Ryan will do a brief reading from his book, and hold a community conversation with attendees through Q & A.
Registration ends on June 10, 2016
