Join the LGBT Alumni Chapter for a community service project at The Grand Rapids Pride Center (formerly the LGBT Network of West Michigan). The project will include painting and reorganizing space at the Pride Center to accommodate the new “Safe and Supported” program. In collaboration with Arbor Circle, this program will provide support to youth and their families during the coming out process with the goal of keeping families together.

Join the LGBT Alumni Chapter for a community service project at The Grand Rapids Pride Center (formerly the LGBT Network of West Michigan). The project will include painting and reorganizing space at the Pride Center to accommodate the new “Safe and Supported” program. In collaboration with Arbor Circle, this program will provide support to youth and their families during the coming out process with the goal of keeping families together.
From 6-7 pm, volunteers will also have the opportunity to engage with participants from the Pride Center’s young adult program over pizza and pop. Although the time frame is from 2-7 pm, please feel free to come for as long as you like, even if only for an hour. We look forward to a great afternoon of fun and service alongside our fellow LGBT and ally alumni, students and friends!
